Good for checking on things, nothing else. video ads EVERY. SINGLE. HIGHLIGHT. Even when you have ESPN+. the video player is also trash, and not at all optimized. Infinite buffer anytime you try and choose a point in a video to go to, so make sure you literally never grt busy or called away from your phone mid watch. Scores are usually accurate to 30 or so seconds of an update in game, so good way to be the first to know, even before anyone outside the venue.

This app, and the entire ESPN streaming platform, is hot garbage. The video is consistently laggy and choppy and blocky across many blazing fast internet connections that I use. And it's virtually impossible to watch something without having the result of spoiled for you if you're at all behind. results are posted all over the app. and even if you are actively watching something on a delay because the video player is so buggy it'll jerk forward to live sometimes and show you what happened.

Believe older versions were easier to browse. I would like to see a grid to see what is live and coming up without having to browse different pages. In a way the mobile app is better. You select your teams and in the Scores page you can see what's going on even if the event is in ESPN or not. Then again it should be should be shown in chronological order.
