Ever since they changed to the new style of meet calls, I can't make outgoing calls, but incoming calls work fine. I can clear app data and cache and get the old one back for one call and that still works. Whatever they did to meet, it's not working for me. A video calling app that doesn't make calls is pretty useless. Edit: the supplied help article isn't relevant to my issue, and I've been trying to get help from the help and feedback forum, they've tried to help but not working yet.

I had a good quality 30 to 40 minute video chat on my wifi which is low tier. I was impressed w/ stability on my network. *This app needs to be pushed more as a communication feature of Google/Android. I want to use this app, but others don't know what the hell meet is or does, they don't even open the app. I get it, it's part of the workspace eco but so is Gmail, Drive, & Calendar which are heavily part of Android's eco too. Change the name to Google View & give it more advertisement please.

Great tool! Also works on IOS devices! Love it! Updated. I must say that over the past year or so as they've transitioned from Duo to Meet, this app has become extremely unreliable. When making a call, the other person, whether they're Android or iPhone, never receive a ring. The only way they know they've missed me is that they ultimately get a missed call notification. Sometimes when we're calling it has a second call running in the background that will and the primary call. Disappointed.
