“In a world where you can choose anger or empathy, always choose empathy,” This was my first Abby Jimenez book, and it certainly won't be my last. Instantly she can do no wrong, and she's one of my favourite authors. Everything about this book was done perfectly. It's a curse. Every woman Justin dates goes on to find her soul mate when they break up. Emma, a traveling nurse, has the same curse, and they find each other on Reddit. Read more at: What Emm Reads

I thoroughly enjoyed this book! It is actually one of my favorite books. This is how romance should be written. I loved how sweet and intentional the MMC is and how self aware the FMC became. I loved how it tied in to the other books Abby wrote, but it didn't give anything away. I felt all the feels: I laughed, cried, yelled and blushed. Long story short, I loved this series and will read anything that Abby writes.

When I first saw this book, I thought it was going to be another clichéd, superficial, fake deep story about romance. But when I started reading, I read the entire book at once, and it brought me to tears several times. This is a beautiful story about the complexity of love and trauma. It's about real love, not just the butterflies and the rush of a honeymoon phase. Highly recommend.
