영화 정보

A cowboy enters an office and after a tense introduction, begins pitching his film script to the man sitting behind the desk. This businessman is assumed to be a movie executive but this is never confirmed. The cowboy then goes into detail about his film in a way that is enthusiastic to the point of mania.
His film is a sci-fi, the plot of which goes on to dominate the majority of the interaction. At first the "businessman" seems disinterested, but gradually he is drawn in by the story he hears. Sufficiently piqued by these ramblings, he coaxes out of the cowboy every plot detail. At this point in the short film it seems certain that the businessman or entrepreneur or executive or whatever he is, is seriously interested in acquiring the cowboy's script.
After the cowboy has laid everything out, the "executive" takes a long moment to finish his drink and then announces that he is leaving. He reveals that the office in which the scene takes place is not his, and does not explain any further. The implication is that he is a thief or conman who was snooping around the office and their meeting was by chance. The cowboy has mistaken him for an executive, and thus the cowboy's idea has been transmitted to a thief.
The film finishes with the cowboy wailing his anguish into the night, not through a window but through a portal in the side of the office. Outside we can see a futuristic city, raising questions as to which timeline this scene takes place in.
